White Smiles Family Dentistry · Orem, Utah

Homepage redesign — three directions.

Three working homepage concepts, each built from your own content, your own photography, and your existing logo. Open any of them on a phone or a desktop — they are real pages, not flat images. Below them: what we found on the current site.

Step one

What we found on the current site.

Every item below is measurable on the live site today. Together they explain why the site under-performs for a practice that patients clearly like.

High

The whole menu is hidden behind a hamburger on desktop

At full desktop width the navigation shows only a hamburger icon, Location, the phone number, and Contact. Every service page — implants, veneers, orthodontics — takes two clicks to reach and is invisible to a scanning visitor.

High

The homepage is roughly eight screens long

The page runs past fifteen thousand pixels. The in-house plan, the dentists, and the reviews all sit well below the point where most visitors stop scrolling.

The hero video still shows a “Mask Required” sign

The looping video behind the opening headline includes a mask notice on the front door. It dates the practice to 2020 for every first-time visitor.

2020–21
High

Every review on the page is six years old

All four testimonials carry 2020 dates. A prospective patient reads that as “nobody has reviewed them since.” There is also no live star rating or review count pulled from Google.

Stock clinical renders crowd out your real photography

The homepage leads with generic 3D tooth renders — including an extraction graphic showing a decayed tooth. Meanwhile the practice’s own photographs sit unused or buried: the team portraits, the treatment room looking at the Wasatch, the reception aquarium. Those are the pictures no competitor can copy.

Opening copy is thin white text over moving video

The headline and the paragraph beneath it are set in a light weight, in white, over a playing video. Contrast shifts frame to frame, so parts of it fail legibility outright — worst for the older patients most likely to need implants.

Contrast

Photography is served far below the size it is displayed at

Most images on the site are 290–600 px wide but stretched across full-width areas, so they render soft. The logo exists as a clean vector file yet is used as a small raster image.

The strongest offer is buried

The in-house plan — $200 a year, two cleanings, x‑rays, an emergency exam, and 20% off everything else — is one of the most persuasive things on the site and sits most of the way down the page.

Placement

Step two

Three directions. Pick one.

Same content, same photographs, same navy logo — three different personalities. Each link opens a working page. Try them on a phone too; all three are built for it.

Direction A

Wasatch

Warm and editorial, like a well-set local newspaper. Opens with your team photograph at full width and a masthead across the top. The most human of the three, and the one that leans hardest on being from Orem.

Pick this if
You want to feel like a long-standing neighbourhood practice rather than a clinic.

Direction B

Clear

Calm, modern and built around one job: getting the appointment booked. A full menu across the top, a request form on the page, and the services organised so a new patient finds theirs in one scroll.

Pick this if
New-patient bookings are the number you want to move. This is the highest-converting of the three.

Direction C

After Hours

Dark, quiet and premium. Opens on a patient’s own words, then walks through exactly how a visit goes, step by step. The one that reads least like a dental website and most like a considered practice.

Pick this if
You want to attract implant, veneer and full-mouth cases rather than compete on being the cheapest cleaning.

What all three already do.

Keep your brand

The navy is sampled straight from your logo, and the logo itself is rebuilt from the vector file already on your server — so it stays sharp at any size.

Use only true information

Every phone number, address, service, credential and price comes from your current site. Nothing is invented — no made-up statistics, no stock testimonials.

Lead with the offer

The $200 in-house plan appears in the first screen or two, not near the footer, in all three directions.

Work on a phone

Tested at 320, 375, 414 and 768 px. No sideways scrolling, tap targets at full size, and the phone number always one thumb away.

Load fast

Fonts and images are embedded, so each page is a single file with no third-party requests. All three are under half a megabyte.

Look the same for everyone

Each direction is locked to the palette it was designed in, so it reads identically whether your phone is set to light mode or dark.
